This ceramic course focuses on firing the anagama style wood kiln located at the UWM at Waukesha Field Station. 

Create up to 4 cubic feet of work which reflects your own style of aesthetics whether through handbuilding methods of construction or on the potters wheel. 

Class will meet at the Gertrude Sherman building located at W349 S1480 S. Waterville Rd. Oconomowoc. 

Appropriate high fire clay and glazing materials available in the classroom. Fees dependent on clay type and amount used, generally between $12 and $15 per bag. Payable to instructor by the end of the course. 

This is a collaborative firing with the UWM students currently enrolled in the wood fired ceramics course taught by Michael Ware.  

Students are required to sign the UWM Risk waiver release form by the first day of class.
