Earthenware Ceramics Workshop: Surface & Soda

This quick paced, explorative ceramics course will focus on creating layers of rich surfaces using slips, stamps, stencils, and decals on earthenware clay. Artists will have the opportunity to fire their pieces in the bourry style wood kiln with soda to cone 1. Clay will be available to purchase in class from instructor. Students are asked to bring their own clay sculpting tools. 

This class needs a minimum of 8 students to take place.

This class is on-site at the beautiful and idyllic UWM at Waukesha Field Station, W349 S1480 S. Waterville Rd. Oconomowoc.
