Blues & Greens: Tucson
Course Detail
As promised upon his retirement, Vic Passante is leading one trip
each year. His inaugural tour is in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. Tucson is
the perfect city for Continuing Education’s next installment of our famous
culture and foodie tours: BLUES and
GREENS. Tucson is rich in
art and music, and is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, actually, the first city to
receive this designation.
Our tour will feature old and NEW recipes from the oldest Mexican restaurant in America, the famous El Charro. plus The Monica and the James Beard recognized Barrio Bread. We will be treated to the Espectacular Concert at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference. We will have demonstrations and UWM at Waukesha special treatment at DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, El Presidio and the Arizona Desert Museum. In addition, the trip includes visits to the Catalina Mountains, the Sonoran Desert, and the artist community of Tubac.
Join Vic and Continuing Education travelers on this once in a 2024 tour of art, music, and food to a city worthy of being included a Blues and Greens destination.
