Charla-Conversational Spanish Part 1 & 2 image

CLASS WILL MEET VIA ZOOM - No class 4/8

Part 1: Students will advance their Spanish proficiency and master grammar skills through charla, or Spanish conversation. Topics will be provided each week so students can improve their pronunciation and build their vocabulary. Spanish conversation will take place in pairs, small groups, and in the large group through an online platform.  

Topics will vary each week, but students will have an opportunity to prepare some content in advance and speak impromptu as well during class. A review of grammar such as the preterite/imperfect, future, and other tenses will be provided and change each week based on the topics for discussion. 

Students will work in pairs, in small groups, and have conversation in the large group via the online platform (Zoom). 

No book required. A Spanish dictionary and 501 Spanish Verbs are also recommended. ***Previous experience taking Spanish required. 

Part 2: This is a continuation of Charla – Spanish Conversation Part 1 (though attending the first session is NOT required to enroll in this session). Previous experience taking Spanish required.
